THE SHORT ANSWER
SmartOne IPTV is a media player for supported TVs. Install the edition for your television, then add your own compatible playlist through the publisher’s Upload Playlist page using the MAC shown in the app. Its player licence and an Apollo viewing subscription are separate purchases.
Find the edition that belongs on your TV.
Start on the television itself. Note its model, operating system and the country selected in its app store. Then follow the matching SmartOne installation page. A Samsung model name and an LG model name can look similar while using completely different app platforms.
| Your television | Publisher’s installation route | Your next check |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung Tizen | Samsung Tizen instructions | Search the Samsung TV store and compare your model with the publisher’s supported list. |
| LG webOS | LG webOS instructions | Search LG Content Store on the TV; match its webOS generation. |
| Android TV / Google TV | Android TV instructions | Use the device’s Google Play store and check the developer and compatibility result. |
| An older or different TV platform | SmartOne installation library | Find the exact platform; a TV brand by itself does not confirm an edition. |
The Samsung and LG documentation includes specific generations and model information. Use that detail when a search returns no result. Do not assume an Android installer applies to a different TV operating system. Our smart-TV setup hub helps you identify the wider device route.
Choose the connection you actually received.
Open SmartOne after installation and note the MAC displayed by that app. Keep the television connected to the network you normally use. On a computer or tablet, open the publisher’s Upload Playlist page. You are linking the source to that TV; your Apollo order reference is not a substitute for the source login.
Match the input below before copying any private details. This helper does not collect credentials.
| What you have | Where to start | Keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| Separate host, port, username and password | Xtream Server Info | Use the supplied values in their separate fields. |
| An Xtream-style get.php playlist link | Xtream Playlist | Keep the complete link; this is a different tab from the simple M3U form. |
| A normal M3U file address | M3u Playlist | Use the complete source address and any separate guide address supplied. |
| Only an app MAC, key or licence receipt | Confirm your viewing-source details first | A player licence does not create an Apollo account. |
The tab names above were checked on the actual publisher form on October 24, 2026. If your instructions use a different method, match them with the publisher before changing the connection type. Keep passwords and private links out of screenshots sent in a public chat.
Add the source without mixing up the fields.

- Choose a recognisable playlist or account name so you can find this source later.
- Copy the TV MAC from the app on the television you intend to use.
- For separate account details, keep host and port in the fields shown by SmartOne. For a playlist link, copy the entire address into the matching playlist tab.
- Review the details against your activation email, save on the publisher’s page, then return to the TV and reopen or reload the app’s source.
- Allow the initial catalogue import to finish, then check representative live, movie and series items that are part of your viewing access.
Save a note of the TV model, app edition and playlist label. Those three details make later support conversations much more useful than a screenshot of a password. If the library appears but one item does not play, record the affected item and error rather than repeatedly replacing a working source.
Give the programme guide its own check.
A populated channel list and a populated programme guide are separate checks. SmartOne’s XMLTV instructions say account-panel connections can provide EPG through their API. For a normal playlist, the app accepts an XMLTV source in the guide field or the supported playlist-header tags.

SmartOne also documents an EPG display control: Settings → Setup → Epg Info → Enable. That setting displays available guide information; it cannot manufacture missing schedule data. If video works but the schedule is blank or shifted, follow our EPG setup and channel-matching guide before changing the video source.
Keep the app licence and viewing plan separate.
SmartOne’s activation page, checked October 24, lists a €12.99 one-time licence option and a €2.50 yearly option per TV/device. Confirm the current price on that page before paying. These are third-party app charges, not Apollo subscription prices. The publisher asks you to test the app first and says paying will not fix a setup problem.
Apollo plans at this website are priced in USD. The current one-screen, one-month plan is $14.99 USD; other terms and simultaneous-screen allowances are shown on the full plan page. An app licence, the number of TVs with the app installed and the number of simultaneous Apollo streams are different decisions.
Choose the viewing plan around how many screens your household will use at once. Keep the app developer’s licence confirmation and Apollo’s subscription details separately, so a later renewal or setup question goes to the right place.
Use the symptom to choose one next step.
| What you see | Check next | Useful information for support |
|---|---|---|
| The app is missing from the TV store | Exact operating system, model and store availability | TV model, region and the publisher installation page used. |
| Saved source is not on this TV | TV MAC and the source name on the publisher page | App edition and playlist label, with private fields hidden. |
| Library loads but one item fails | A second representative item and the precise error | Whether the issue affects one channel/title or the whole source. |
| Live video works; guide is blank | Guide source, EPG Info control and channel matches | Which channels have missing listings and the last guide update. |
| A licence or subscription message appears | Whether it names the player or the viewing source | The exact message and which receipt it refers to. |
Change one setting, test again and keep what you learned. If you move between Wi-Fi and Ethernet, recheck the MAC shown inside the app; the publisher has specific connection-change guidance. A random MAC copied from another device will not identify your television.
Make Apollo the next part of your setup.
Once the TV edition and connection method are clear, choose the Apollo term and screen allowance that fit your home. You can start with one month, keep the full term total visible and pay once without automatic renewal. The dated channel and catalogue overview helps you identify what to ask about before ordering.
Activation is handled manually after payment is confirmed, and your access and setup instructions arrive by email. Tell support the exact TV model and that you intend to use SmartOne, so the connection details can be matched to that setup. This guide checks publisher documentation and the public website form; it does not claim a hands-on SmartOne playback test. For documented Windows playback, see the real Windows app sessions.

Frequently asked questions
What is SmartOne IPTV?
It is a media player for supported TV platforms. You add your own compatible viewing source; the player developer does not provide an Apollo subscription.
How do I install SmartOne on Samsung or LG?
Use the publisher’s installation page for Samsung Tizen or LG webOS, then check the app store and compatibility on your exact television.
Which MAC should I enter on Upload Playlist?
Use the MAC displayed by SmartOne on the TV being configured. Do not substitute a computer’s or another television’s MAC.

The publisher’s page has separate M3u Playlist, Xtream Playlist and Xtream Server Info tabs. Select the tab that matches the details supplied for your source.

Guide information is separate from playback. Check the EPG source, the display setting and whether channel identifiers match the schedule.
Is the SmartOne fee part of Apollo’s $14.99 plan?
No. The one-screen, one-month Apollo plan is $14.99 USD. Any required third-party player licence is priced and handled separately by that developer.

No hands-on playback test is claimed. The installation references and the actual blank publisher forms were checked on October 24, 2026.
