PLAYER FIELD NOTES / IPTVX

IPTVX. Get the right details into the right place.

Your player, your subscription and your TV guide have different jobs. Here is how to connect them without paying for the wrong thing.

An original diagram separates IPTVX player installation, provider access and TV guide setup.
Original diagram. Documentation-based guide; no IPTVX session test is claimed.

THE SHORT ANSWER

IPTVX is a media player, not a TV subscription. Install the genuine app for your device, check its separate licence, then add your provider’s M3U link or Xtream server, username and password. Add or verify the EPG source for programme listings. For Apollo orders, confirm your exact device and connection format before paying.

Start with three separate pieces.

A new app can open perfectly and still have nothing to play. Think of the setup as three pieces: the app displays your library, your provider grants access, and the EPG supplies programme information. Paying for one does not automatically buy the others.

What you need before you begin

  • Your exact device model and operating-system version.
  • The genuine IPTVX download linked by its publisher.
  • An active source you are entitled to use, supplied as a complete M3U URL or separate Xtream details.
  • A guide URL if your connection does not supply one automatically.

For a new Apollo subscription, start with the plan and buying-process walkthrough. If you already ordered, use the details sent after activation. An order request alone is not an activated account.

Which devices can use IPTVX?

The publisher’s current platform page lists Apple, Android and compatible Fire OS devices. These are different installation paths, not one universal download.

Apple

The US App Store lists iPhone and iPad with iOS/iPadOS 16 or later, Apple TV with tvOS 16 or later, and Apple silicon Macs with macOS 12 or later. It also lists Vision Pro support. Check your own store’s compatibility notice.

Android & Google TV

Use the publisher-linked Google Play listing. Store availability on the actual device is a better check than assuming every Android television can install the same app. Review its purchase screen separately from Apple’s prices.

Amazon Fire OS

The official Fire OS guide uses the publisher’s signed APK rather than an Amazon Appstore listing. Its current instructions require a Google Play purchase verified with the same IPTVX account. Follow the guide only for compatible Fire OS models; do not apply APK instructions to Vega OS.

Have an iPad? Our iPad guide explains the wider device decision. Choosing between players? Use the player comparison. Neither guide represents a hands-on IPTVX test.

How much does IPTVX cost?

Downloading the Apple app is free, with in-app purchases. On October 27, 2026, its US store listing showed FULL at $3.99 for one month, $10.49 for three months, $18.99 for six months and $28.99 yearly. Other purchases, including a Family Sharing plan and PRO–TV, also appear. The labels describe different entitlements: compare the actual purchase screen before choosing.

Those are player prices, not Apollo subscription prices. Store region, tax, platform and product choice can change what you are charged. Check whether your chosen app purchase renews through the store; Apollo’s prepaid terms on this website have no automatic renewal.

Keep the total clear

Your total setup cost can include the viewing subscription, the player licence and any hardware or accessories. Apollo’s one-month plan starts at $14.99 for one simultaneous stream; IPTVX is a separate purchase. Confirm the player and source fit before buying a longer term.

Which login belongs where?

An email address used to buy an app is not necessarily your playlist username. Keep these roles separate:

Apple or Google purchase account
Handles the app-store purchase and its billing.
IPTVX account
Used for the publisher’s account features and supported entitlement checks. Follow the platform-specific instructions rather than assuming all purchases or settings transfer automatically.
Provider access details
The private server, username, password or full playlist URL supplied with your viewing account. These go into the playlist connection, not a public comment or a support forum.

A failed provider login is not a reason to buy the player twice. First compare the field labels with the access email and confirm the viewing account is active.

Add an Xtream connection.

Use this route when your access email supplies a server address, username and password separately. The publisher’s M3U/Xtream feature guide is the reference; labels can differ between platforms and versions.

  1. Open the playlist manager and choose to add a new playlist.
  2. Choose the Xtream/API connection type, where offered.
  3. Give the playlist a name you recognise, such as “My TV”.
  4. Copy the complete server address, including its supplied protocol and port. Do not substitute this website’s homepage.
  5. Enter the provider username and password exactly, checking for spaces added while copying.
  6. Save, let the import finish and check both a channel and the TV guide.

The server field is not normally the place for a full get.php?... M3U link. If the email contains one complete link instead of three fields, use the M3U route below. Ask your seller to confirm the format rather than using an unfamiliar online converter.

Add a complete M3U playlist link.

Choose the M3U or playlist-by-URL option and paste the full link supplied by your provider. Keep its query parameters: removing everything after the question mark can remove the account information the server needs.

Give it a recognisable name and save. If the player asks separately for an EPG URL, use the guide address supplied for that same account. An M3U link imports the list; it does not establish that every entry has matching guide data.

Xtream uses separate server, username and password fields; M3U uses the complete private playlist link; EPG uses its guide source.
Original field map, not an IPTVX interface screenshot. No real account details are shown.

Keep playlist URLs private just as you would a password. For the format itself, see our playlist explanation; it does not distribute Apollo account credentials.

Channels load but the guide is empty?

That points to the guide stage rather than necessarily the whole connection. Check the configured EPG source, refresh it, and confirm it matches the playlist. The publisher FAQ explains guide-source checks and supported custom EPG matching.

Start with one channel you recognise. Confirm the programme time and device time zone, then check another channel. A blank programme listing does not prove that playback is broken; a visible channel list does not prove that the stream will play.

Refreshing guide data updates programme information. Reloading the playlist requests the catalogue. Use the action for the information that is missing. Our EPG troubleshooting guide explains the difference in more detail.

Check the session before calling it finished.

A practical first-session check

  • Open a live channel and check both picture and sound.
  • Check a movie and a series episode if your account includes them.
  • Confirm the guide time, subtitles and audio options you need.
  • Close and reopen the app to check the saved connection.
  • Keep playback within the simultaneous-stream allowance you bought.

These are checks to perform, not results we claim to have measured in IPTVX. The owner’s documented Windows tests cover different players; they do not establish how IPTVX will behave on your device.

If only one item fails, note that item privately. If everything fails, confirm the account and source with your provider before changing several settings. For help, record device model, OS, app version, connection type and the exact error. Remove passwords and complete playlist links from screenshots. Playback features such as casting or Picture in Picture also depend on the platform and stream format.

Quick answers before you start.

Does IPTVX include channels?

No. It is player software. Add a source you are entitled to use; a player purchase does not supply Apollo viewing access.

Can IPTVX use M3U and Xtream details?

The publisher documents both. Select the route that matches the details supplied for your account and confirm your exact device before purchasing.

Is there an Apollo IPTVX app?

IPTVX is a separate third-party product. This website supplies viewing subscriptions and setup guidance, not an Apollo-branded edition of IPTVX.

Does installing the app activate my Apollo plan?

No. Apollo requests, payment confirmation and manual account activation are separate stages. Use the access details emailed after activation.

Should I buy IPTVX again if my playlist does not load?

First check the provider details and active account, then the selected connection type. A second player purchase does not repair an expired or incorrect source.
